The new System 5 THX Select represents a perfect combination of incredible sound, easy home installation and affordable price.

It was no simple task to try and improve the System 5 THX Select, which is already an almost perfect speaker set given its price class, but our engineers took up the challenge and succeeded. All satellite speakers were endowed with new chassis, which were assigned a custom crossover point based on their respective functions.

With the new M 5500 SW subwoofer we managed to fulfil the strict requirements of THX Select while also reducing the enclosure volume. This was no easy task since a large enclosure volume is still the best way of achieving a high sound volume level. Drawing from our extensive experience in subwoofer construction we managed to complete this task, and the M 5500 SW THX Select now takes up significantly less space than its larger predecessor.

The System 5 THX Select combines a subwoofer and five satellite speakers to solve two of the biggest problems facing many fans of modern audio engineering: the space requirements of multi-channel systems and merging the worlds of stereo and home cinema. The speakers, which are suitable for rooms up to 50 sqm, are even smaller than the DIN A4 format when viewed from the front yet sound phenomenally good in either stereo or home cinema mode!

Extremely high speech intelligibility, excellent traceability and amazing volume control guarantee pure and unadulterated listening enjoyment.

The new 2007 System 5 THX Select has the best premises for not only repeating the extraordinary award-winning achievements of its predecessor, but even surpassing them.
