The beauty of the color Peacock blue, particularly when used in interior design, is that there are so many complementary colors to work along with it. Some include Burnt Orange, Tobacco brown or another shade of blue, such as turquoise or slate. The shade of Peacock blue chosen also does not have to be intense. Just pair it with a lighter color, like ivory, sand or beige. I like to think about the California coastline as my inspiration for combining shades of blue and earthen tones. The result is tranquil, casual and the epitome of relaxed, refined elegance.
