Looks good so far, Irishman. I love the extra warp coil assembly bit, it's crazy and unique and could certainly be explained away as an experimental but short-lived technology to keep the rabid fanboy canon-botherers at bay. And the odd shapes you've chosen are just fantastic.

My only crit really is with the "heaviness" of the ship. Now, the nacelles are perfect and the dorsal view is clean and sleek but the bow, stern, and starboard views all seem a little chunky and clunky in comparison. Maybe streamline the rest a bit and move it toward that clean, sleek, but still more angular look of the TOS Enterprise? But then, that's just my take.

I like seeing other people take these ships with vague or no established on-screen canon and flesh them out. I'm working on the Daedalus right now. Like the Farragut, there's vague references and "fan canon" (Sisko's Horizon model which is never explicitly stated on screen as being a Daedalus class vessel) of what it might have looked like but nothing solid. I'm extrapolating what I think Jefferies probably would have done with the shape from his sketches and adding a whole lot of 22nd century feel to it (commissioned 2161). Yours is fun too!
